Colombia.

Twig epiphyte often occurring on lower guava twigs. Perhaps the "newest" Comparettia and certainly one of the showiest. "The best way of ensuring their successful cultivation is to grow them on twigs." (Irene Bock, Native Colombian Orchids, 1994) The plants offered are in net pots and are small, 2 or 3 growths a couple of inches tall. Some have spiked. One per customer.
