TOF1233 STANHOPEA napoensis 'COLOMBIAN ALOHA' x self. Perhaps the rarest of all the Stanhopeas and certainly one of the most beautiful. (Greer, 1998). Distinctive and showy huge flowers hang in midair like birds in flight. Purple markings on hypochile are completely unique to this species. Discovered in 1963 in Eastern Ecuador by Dr. Calaway Dodson. | ||||
