Brazil.

Hardy species grows in the southern states of Brazil. 4" erect spikes are produced in profusion from the bases of the pseudobulbs, each carrying a single showy 2" flower. Sepals and petals are pale yellow (or whitish) with red spot on the outside, darker golden yellow on the inside. Some pale purple spot in white lip. Nice fragrance.
