Lycaste brevispatha

Diminutive lycaste has really beautiful pink flowers. Compact and floriferous too. Great species by itself but also has value for hybridization- to impart small size, warmth tolerance and pink color. Epiphyte in shady positions at around 4,000 ft. level near streams and waterfalls which give high humidity. This has it all: compact growth, bright colors, and nice display.
