TOF1938 GALEANDRA greenwoodiana. Mexico. Only described and published in 1994. At first mistaken for Gal. baueri which is an Andean species. Certainly one of the most beautiful Galeandras - with large full lip which is rose on the bottom half and bright yellow basally. In the habitat the plants were growing on small palm trees. The locals use the palm fronds for roofing thatch so all the trees are left intact. Warm to intermediate growing. | ||||
