"A very rare species, possibly native only in eastern Cuba." Marie Selby Gardens OIC. Interesting stiff fan-shaped growths are separated by a rhizome. Grows into "mats" readily. Beautiful lilac-pink color. Seems easier for us than other equitant oncidiums. These are extra bushy plants w/ many fans in 3" empty net pots.

Interesting new vandaceous hybrid. Pairs the best-quality T. brachiata with it's large purplish flowers, with the small T. smithii with it's crazy cute red-barred flowers. Expecting smaller plants with many closely-held flowers in new colors and patterns.

One of my favorites. Small-size erect vandaceous plants bear numerous flowers singly. Star-shaped long-lasting flowers are barred with red or maroon and have clear purple blotches on the lips. Easy, rewarding. Nice plants.
